1. Introduction

Welcome to Maria's hair and beauty. These Terms & Conditions apply to all services I provide, whether at my home salon in Rugby or when I travel to you on a mobile basis.

By booking an appointment with me, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before your appointment.

2. Bookings & Appointments

All bookings are automatically confirmed, however I reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking that does not fit my policies or availability.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, I may need to shorten your service to avoid affecting other clients, and the full price will still apply.

For mobile appointments, please ensure you have a suitable, clean space prepared for me to work in, with access to water and electricity where needed.

3. Consultations & Patch Tests

Some services require a consultation form to be completed before your appointment. This helps me understand your needs and ensure the treatment is safe and suitable for you.

Certain treatments, such as lash and brow tinting or chemical hair services, may require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. If a patch test is needed, I will let you know in advance.

If you do not complete the required consultation or patch test, I may not be able to carry out your treatment and the cancellation policy will apply.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give me at least 48 hours' notice.

Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee or loss of any deposit paid.

If you do not show up for your appointment without notifying me (a 'no-show'), you may be charged the full cost of the booked service, and I may require a deposit for future bookings.

5. Payment

Payment is due at the end of your appointment unless otherwise agreed.

I accept cash, card, and bank transfer as payment methods.

Prices for services are as quoted at the time of booking. If additional work is required during your appointment, I will discuss this with you before proceeding.

6. Refund Policy

All payments made for services and treatments are non-refundable. Once payment has been made, it cannot be refunded regardless of the circumstances.

If you have any concerns about your service, please let me know as soon as possible and I will make every effort to address and resolve the matter.

7. Client Conduct & Expectations

Before and during appointments, clients are expected to conduct themselves in a polite and courteous manner.

You must provide honest and accurate information during the consultation and throughout the appointment. This is essential for your safety and mine, and allows me to select the appropriate products and perform services correctly.

I reserve the right to refuse service or end an appointment early if a client behaves inappropriately or provides false information. In such cases, payment will still be required for any services provided.

8. Health & Safety

I am committed to maintaining a safe, hygienic, and professional environment for both myself and my clients.

All services are carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, industry standards, and best practice, whether at my home salon or on a mobile basis.

If you are feeling unwell, have any contagious conditions, or have any health concerns that may affect your treatment, please let me know before your appointment. I may need to reschedule for your safety and mine.

9. Mobile & Home Salon Services

I offer services from my home salon in Rugby and also travel to clients on a mobile basis.

For mobile appointments, please ensure children and pets are supervised and that I have a safe, clean area to work in.

Travel charges may apply for mobile appointments depending on your location. These will be confirmed at the time of booking.

10. Your Privacy & Data

Any personal information you provide to me will only be used for booking and appointment purposes.

I will not share your data with third parties and will keep your information secure in line with UK data protection laws.

11. Liability

While I take every care to provide safe and professional services, I cannot be held responsible for any adverse reactions or outcomes if you have not disclosed relevant health information or have not followed aftercare advice.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

12. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you before your next appointment where possible.
